Visionplan - Terms and Conditions

  • By joining Visionplan members are agreeing to pay monthly for their professional fees until a written notice of intent to cancel in provided by the member.
  • The Visionplan membership monthly fee covers all examinations and professional advice. By spreading the cost of their eyecare Visionplan members are offered 25% off the standard price of spectacle frames, spectacle lenses, prescription sunglasses and most non-prescription sunglasses. There is a 10% discount available on solutions and optical accessories.
  • The full eye examination will normally be carried annually, or at the discretion of the optometrist.
  • The minimum period of the Direct Debit is 18 months. If the Direct Debit is terminated before the end of the minimum term, all discounts and examinations received within the term are repayable, less any fees already received. Re-joining Visionplan will only be possible at the discretion of the Company Directors.
  • Direct Debit payments are non-refundable even if no purchases are made.
  • One month’s notice is required in order to cancel the Direct Debit agreement. Members are requested to give written notice both to the practice and your Bank or Building Society.
  • Failure to maintain payments will result in cancellation of the Direct Debit and membership of Visionplan will be terminated.
  • The monthly fee may be changed from time to time. Linklater Warren Ltd will provide members with appropriate notice of any planned changes to fees. The current monthly fee is £9.00.
  • Visionplan terms and conditions may be subject to change.

Visionplan (Contact Lenses) - Terms and Conditions

  • By joining Visionplan (Contact Lenses) members are agreeing to pay monthly for their professional fees until a written notice of intent to cancel is provided by the member. Members are also agreeing to pay any outstanding balance that may be due from contact lenses and solutions supplied but not paid for.
  • The Visionplan (Contact Lenses) membership monthly fee covers all examinations and professional advice. By spreading the cost of their eyecare Visionplan (Contact Lenses) members are offered 25% off the standard price of spectacle frames, spectacle lenses, prescription sunglasses and most non-prescription sunglasses. There is a 10% discount available on solutions and optical accessories.
  • Visionplan (Contact Lenses) membership costs £11.00 per month for professional fees; this includes all necessary professional services and advice. Visionplan (Contact Lenses) members can access contact lenses at our most competitive rates. These can either be paid for on an ad-hoc basis or added to the monthly direct debit amount. Contact lens solutions can also be added to the monthly direct debit amount at the members request.
  • Eye examinations and contact lens aftercare appointments will be carried out at intervals advised by the Optometrist.
  • The minimum period of the Direct Debit is 18 months.   • If the Direct Debit payment includes the cost of contact lenses (with or without solutions), payments are made in arrears. Upon cancellation of the Direct Debit there may be a balancing payment due for lenses/solution collected but not paid for. Direct Debit payments for fees are non-refundable.
