Latest News
  • Optomap® now available at all our practices.

The key to having and maintaining healthy eyes is the early detection of potential problems. We are delighted to announce that we now offer Optomap® ultra-wide retinal images and that they are included as standard as part of our Linklater Warren Eye Examination.

Optomap® ultra-wide retinal imaging offers unparalleled views of the retina giving your Optometrist a view of over 80% of the retina in one image (traditional methods reveal 10 to 15 % of your retina at one time). These images increase the detection of eye disease and allow your Optometrist to monitor your eyes more closely for change between visits.

Each Optomap image take less that a second to capture and reduces the time taken to examine the inside of your eyes. In turn this can help reduce the amount of time spent in close proximity with your Optometrist; an added benefit during the current COVID19 pandemic.

  • COVID19 Update – Putting safety first.

We have been hard at work to make sure our practices are COVID secure and continue to review out protocols with reference to the latest guidance to ensure that we keep you safe during your visit to the practice. Amongst other measures our infection control policies have been strengthened and steps taken to aid social distancing. More information about the ways in which we are keeping our staff and patients safe can be found here.
