EyeDream Contact Lenses

Overnight vision correction

EyeDream contact lenses, a form of orthokeratology (or orthoK), correct your vision whilst you sleep. The lenses are removed on waking and provide clear, comfortable vision throughout the day; a safe and effective way to achieve freedom from glasses and conventional contact lenses.

Who is suitable for EyeDream Contact Lenses?

EyeDream is suitable for those with mild to moderate short-sightedness (myopia). They can correct prescriptions up to -5.00 with up to -2.50 of astigmatism.

Unlike laser surgery treatment the effect of EyeDream Contact Lenses is non-invasive and reversible.

EyeDream is ideal for people who…

…want clear vision all day without wearing glasses.
…wear soft contact lenses but find them dry.
…have considered laser surgery but are concerned with the associated risks.
…enjoy sports but find glasses or contact lens wear during the day restrictive.

How does Orthokeratology work?

Orthokeratology (including EyeDream) is the science of using rigid gas permeable contact lenses to gently reshape the curvature of the eye overnight, giving a slightly flatter cornea which corrects short sighted prescriptions. Find out more by visiting the EyeDream website or watching the video below.

Orthokeratology and Myopia Management.

Myopia Management refers to techniques and treatments that slow the rate of progression of short-sight (myopia) in children. In addition to the many benefits of orthokeratology listed above they have also been shown to reduce the rate of prescription change when used by short-sighted (myopic) children by between 36% and 58% (depending on the study) compared to those wearing standard contact lenses or glasses. Visit our Myopia Management page for more information.
